Here comes Summer!

It’s the season for grad parties, backyard barbecues, and potlucks with family and friends. And don’t forget Memorial Day weekend! Whatever the occasion, platters of local faves make it easy to please a crowd.

Here’s where to pre-order ono entrees and tasty sides in party-ready pans:

Pearl’s Korean BBQ offers favorite mains and sides at budget-friendly prices, including kalbi, fish and meat jun, fried man doo; kimchi and shoyu potatoes. All are available in three party pan sizes, with the largest serving up to 40 or 50 guests.

The newest addition to Kapolei Shopping Center’s restaurant line-up is Timmy T’s Gourmet Grinders which serves up made-to-order sandwiches stacked with meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies. Fifteen- and thirty-piece sandwich trays provide a hearty option for post-game potlucks and picnics in the park.

Loco Moco Drive Inn offers its house favorites in three pan sizes that serve up to 20 or 25 guests. Chicken katsu and mochiko chicken, teri pork, beef stew, and shrimp fried rice are just some of the house specialties on their catering menu.

Let Chili’s spice up your next gathering with a tray of Spicy Wings, Cajun Chicken Pasta, Southwestern Eggrolls, or Quesadilla Explosion Salad. Check out the catering menu for these and other popular items, including Chili’s Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Iced Tea by the gallon.

Platters of assorted nigiri and maki sushi from Sushi Bay are perennial party-pleasers. California roll and spicy tuna don platters are also on the menu.
