Safe trick-or-treating and free Halloween fun

At Kapolei Shopping Center and Kapolei Marketplace, October 31

Kapolei Shopping Center and Kapolei Marketplace are teaming up for an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating and other kid-friendly Halloween activities on Sunday, October 31, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Participating merchants will pass out treats, and other FREE or inexpensive activities will be available throughout the two adjacent centers.

Kapolei Shopping Center activities include:

• Mini-pumpkin Patch near Safeway Store, with free mini-pumpkins to decorate, while supplies last
• Free Halloween treat bags to decorate, near Radio Shack
• Hair tinsel attachments for a nominal charge at Fantastic Sam’s
• Gialuchi Boutique & Day Spa offers nail art at special Halloween prices

Activities at Kapolei Marketplace include:

• Balloon Monsoon, fronting Blockbuster Video
• Halloween Tattoos, fronting Momentum Tattoos
• Jewelry-making craft, fronting Bead It
• Trick-or-treat promotion and customer Halloween costume contest at the Fun Factory, all day on October 31. Contest open to all ages.
• The UPS Store will offer a Halloween Photo Special, October 31, 3-5 p.m. For just $1, they will take a photo of your costumed keiki and make a 4×6 print to take home that day or pick up during normal business hours.

The two centers are located in the heart of Kapolei at 590 Farrington Hwy, just off of Makakilo Drive.
