
McDonald’s of Kapolei hosted a night of festivities on May 11 to celebrate the newly renovated restaurant at Kapolei Shopping Center.
The celebration started with a Ronald McDonald show at 5:30 p.m., and included a classic car display hosted by the Kapolei Lunch Bunch Cruisers in the restaurant parking lot.
From 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., prices were rolled back with a special in-store promotion featuring 29-cent hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Sausage Biscuits and Sausage McMuffins.
McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii has 85 restaurants and more than 5,200 employees in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.
In Hawaii alone, the company has 75 restaurants and more than 4,600 employees. McDonald’s total economic impact on the state, yearly, directly and indirectly, is about $370 million in spending and nearly 12,000 jobs in the community.
