On February 8th Kapolei welcomes the Lunar New Year with a lively troupe of lion dancers that will make their way through the center. It’s always a fun event for the whole family. Get the details below, along with 5 tasty ways to kick off your Super Bowl LIX watch party.
Celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year!

Bring your camera, “feed” the lions, and help us welcome the Year of the Snake!
The fun begins at 10:30 a.m. in front of the center near Sushi Bay where members of Wah Ngai Lion Dance Association will demonstrate their athleticism as they perform dramatic moves atop platforms. The troupe will then make their way through the center to bless merchant locations and summon good fortune for the new year. Complimentary fortune cookies will be passed out to spectators, while supply lasts.
