It’s Official: Flowers are Top Pick for Mother’s Day Gifts!
According to the National Retail Federation’s annual consumer survey, flowers top the list of most popular Mother’s Day gifts with total spending on flowers expected to reach $3.2 billion this year – the second highest in history after 2023’s record $35.7 billion.
Along with fresh flowers, Kapolei Shopping Center merchants offer three other wallet-friendly ways to celebrate Mom with flowers.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Give Mom a Beauty Treatment
We happen to love floral nail art, but a gift certificate from Onyx Nails Wax & Lash lets Mom decide for herself how she wants to unwind and enjoy a rejuvenating experience at the salon. Will it be a mani-pedi, professional waxing service or lash enhancements?
Floral Refresh for Her Phone
Just in time for Mother’s Day gifting, AT&T offers 25% off floral and functional phone cases from Carson & Quinn, through May 30, 2024. Some restrictions apply. Check out the selection instore at AT&T’s Kapolei Shopping Center location.

Toast Mom with a Watermelon Spritz
If Mom is a margarita-lover, Chili’s Marg of the Month may tickle her “pink.” Available all day every day during the month of May, Tito’s Watermelon Spritz is a refreshing blend of Tito’s® handmade Vodka, Lunazul® Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, Fresh Sour, Monin® Watermelon Syrup and soda water.
Kapu‘uola Hula Festival, May 5
Ulu ‘Ae Learning Center invites the community to Kapu‘uola, an outdoor non-competitive hula festival held at the pā hula (hula mound) at Pu‘uokapolei, a cultural and historic site in the City of Kapolei.
Although the first day of the two-day festival was April 28, you can still enjoy the festivities on Sunday, 5 May from 3:00-6:30 p.m.: cultural workshops, sunset performances by two hālau hula, music entertainment by Po‘okela and Friends, and vendor booths. The event is free and open to the public.
