Island Preparedness Group and Kapolei Shopping Center are grateful for the community’s support of “Preparedness with a Cause” – a Drive-thru Food & Toy Drive on December 19.
With your help, 400 new toys and 1,500 pounds of non-perishable food were collected, along with $1,700 in cash donations. All donations go to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and Hawaii Foodbank, to help brighten the holiday season for Oahu families in need.
Aloha Kalikimaka!
Kapolei Shopping Center, in partnership with the Kala Foundation and Tidal Wave Entertainment, presented Aloha Kalikimaka, a mobile holiday concert on December 19, featuring multiple Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning singer Ku‘uipo Kumukahi together with Isaac Akuna and Danny Kiaha!
Performing from the back of their truck, decked out for the holidays, the trio made its way through the Villages of Kapolei before heading to Kapolei Shopping Center for a half-hour mobile concert in the parking lot. They were accompanied by Santa, riding in his own “holidaymobile” with his favorite reindeer.
